Her unique mixed media works offer viewers a delightful escape to paradise through their combination of patterns, colour, and interesting textures as well as their unique aerial perspective. Her works are influenced by her childhood memories of swimming, sunbathing and enjoying the outdoors in sunny Australia, and feature many little three-dimensional figures enjoying such pastimes, that are hand-sculpted on the canvas with many layers of fine, intrinsic details.
An artist who takes inspiration from the world around her, her popular beach series was inspired by a photograph she saw of the iconic Rottnest Swim in Western Australia, in an inflight magazine. Langretier has been fearless in her approach to creating and experimentation, which has led her to create her unique and striking style of art.
E Langreiter was recently named one of the top 100 emerging artists in Australia and New Zealand, and her charming works are beloved by collectors all around the world in countries such as Singapore, USA, Croatia and Japan.
