Chen Qing Qing

Biography

Born in 1953, Beijing. Qing Qing studied Medicine and finished her English/German Literature Studies in Beijing and Vienna. In 1994, she started installation creation and now working as a professional artist in Beijing. Since 1995, her works has been exhibited widely and collected by private collectors around the world.
 

The details of the fabric art installation work is made by natural materials like silk, hemp, dry flower, paper or pearl etc.
 
Her exhibitions included: China in Paris, Contemporary Showroom Paris (2010), facing China - works of Art from Fu Ruide Collecction Sweden Ystads Konstmuseum and Germany the Netherlands Museum (2010) , Floating - New Generation of Art in China, Korea National Modern Art Museum Seoul Korea (2007) “Hot Pot” Chinese Contemporary Art Exhibition, Norway (2001); Chicago International Art Fair, Chicago, U.S.A (2002); “Democratic Forevery!” Chinese Contemporary Art Exhibition, New York, U.S.A (2004); Milan International Art Fair, Milan, Italy (2006); Chinese Contemporary Art Documentary Exhibition, The China Millennium Monument, Beijing (2006) etc.

Chen works are collected by China National Museum and New Museum in New York and many international private collectors.
